The 18th phase of the seven year World Aries cycle, now ended, was very challenging and violent in the extreme!
4-month phase : Aries-Mars [3/4]
Start : 7 May 2014
End : 7 September 2014
Unfortunately, it appears that the collective consciousness of Humanity is not yet able to transcend the need for violent conflict.
And now the World has entered the 19th phase of the seven year Aries cycle...
4-month phase : Aries-Saturn [3/5]
Start : 7 September 2014
End : 7 January 2015
This phase represents the apex of a triangle of influences...
1. Saturn - 2. Virgo - 3. Scorpio
These influences may result in strong assertions of authority, and the establishment of new structures, boundaries and limitations (Saturn) in the realms of business/finance (Scorpio) and work/labor/health (Virgo).
We see this, for example, starting to manifest in tough new economic sanctions against Russia, but these influences are also likely to impact the World economy.
There are two more phases left in the World Aries cycle, and then we enter the seven year Taurus cycle (for the first time in 147 years). The final two phases of the Aries cycle are:
4-month phase : Aries-Moon [3/6]
Start : 7 January 2015
End : 7 May 2015
4-month phase : Aries-Mercury [3/7]
Start : 7 May 2015
End : 7 September 2015
The seven year Taurus cycle is characterized by economic downturn (for a time at least). I wrote an article on the last time the World experienced this cycle...

I think we had a taste of the future during the first phase of the current World Aries cycle...
4-month phase : Aries-Taurus [1/1]
Start : 7 September 2008
End : 7 January 2009
This four month phase might have been an expression on a smaller scale of the larger seven year Taurus cycle that proceeds the Aries cycle.
The recent Global Financial Crisis (GFC) was triggered in that Aries-Taurus phase.
